My name is Christopher Williams.  I am a college graduate, a radio board operator, and father of two.  It is because I wish to better provide for my family that I am perusing a new career.  The opportunity to apply for the position of legal assistant at your firm may be the beginning of a positive chapter.

I cannot escape the most obvious fact from my resume which is I have little experience in a law firm.  To remedy this I have completed my certificate of proficiency in legal studies from Clark College which allowed me the opportunity to intern with a firm specializing in business and probate.  I have spent much of the past decade in a radio studio.  Radio is a passion that I developed in college, and one that has aided me to hone many skills that may be of use to your firm.  In the studio I had to adapt to an environment that was constantly changing.  The changes include things such as technological changes such as our broadcasting equipment and software, programing changes dealing with music one moment to live talk radio the next moment.  The constant change keeps my learning skills sharp.  Attention to detail is paramount for programing in radio to note proper timing and content of all that goes over the air.  Where many would accept mediocrity for themselves I would accept new challenge without complaint.

Every day I am confronted with choices.  I understand that even the smallest choice can have lasting ramifications depending on the logic of that choice.  I hope you will choose to read my resume, and contact me at a future date.  Thank you for your time.
